Autumn Porridge

Ingredients

1/2 cup brown rice

1/2 cup long cooking oatmeal

1/2 cup steal cut Irish oats

2 1/2 cups water

 

1/2 cup chopped pecans or nut of choice

1/2 cup raisins

1/2 cup dried cranberries

1/2 shredded coconut (optional)

 

1 cup chopped fruit (Fresh, canned, or thawed froze)

Peaches, plumbs, pears, berries, bananas what ever looks good.

 

Instructions

Bring water to boil, and add all of the first three ingredients.

Turn heat to simmer. Cook until almost all moisture has been absorbed.

Stir in raisins and cranberries. Top cereal with nuts and choice of fruit. Sprinkle with coconut.
