The donkeys

Willow and Tolstoy came to us in August 2006. Willow was about three years old when she was rounded up by the BLM in eastern Nevada for fear she might starve to death. She was pregnant and gave birth to Tolstoy in May of 2006. They love and play with each other every day. Tolstoy is a typical adolescent and chases her around the corral with his Jolly Ball. We are in the process of fencing a large open area for them; it contains lots of trees and sagebrush and is basically their native habitat.
